Mr. Roy E. Woods, age 67, died Wednesday January 29, 2019 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. The Bulloch County native was an auto/lawn mower mechanic and served in the Navy.

Mr. Woods is preceded in death by his father, Doy Edward Woods and two brothers, Johnny Ray Woods and Donald Wayne Woods.

Surviving are his mother, Mary Lou Woods; four brothers, Richard Woods, Ronald Woods, Billy Woods and Chris Woods; two sisters, Patsy Suggs and Rita Bryant; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Saturday February 2, 2019 at Poplar Springs Baptist Church with Rev. George Archer, Jr. officiating.

Visitation will be Friday February 1, from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.
