Obituary

Naomi Ruth Roberts born December 12th 1932 passed away June 12th 2026 at the age of 93 and a half, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother ,great-great- great grandmother, aunt, and cherished friend to many, peacefully went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 12, 2026, at 10:13 p.m. while under the compassionate care of East Georgia Regional Hospital and Gentiva Hospice. She was surrounded by her loving sons, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who were able to be by her side as she entered her eternal home.

Naomi was a devoted Christian whose faith guided every aspect of her life. She was a faithful member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Claxton, Georgia. Her love for God, her family, and her community was evident to all who knew her. She touched countless lives through her kindness, generosity, strength, and unwavering faith.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 17 years; her father and mother; seven brothers; and one sister.

Naomi leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory, including her three sons: Jimmy Roberts, Gene Roberts, and Byron (Jessica) Roberts. She was the proud grandmother of 22 grandchildren, great-grandmother of 36 great-grandchildren, and great-great-great grandmother of 6 great-great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were enriched by her love and presence.

Though her family grieves her passing and will miss her deeply, they find comfort in knowing that she has been reunited with her loved ones who went before her and is now rejoicing in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Visitation will be held at Bulloch Funeral Care and Cremation on Monday, June 15th 2026 at 7:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. A service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, June 16th at 10 A.M. Tuesday with a graveside burial at Ephesus Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery to follow..
