Franki Michelle
Goding-Shumacker
b. Mar 9, 1991
The family of Franki Michelle Goding-Schumacker is heartbroken to announce her passing on Saturday, June 27th 2026. She was born on March 9th, 1991 in Savannah, GA to Rebecca Ann Curl and Donald Lee Kelley Sr.
Franki was a rare soul. There was a depth to her spirit that longed for something greater, something more beautiful than what this life could offer. She carried both wonder and yearning in her heart, always searching for beauty and meaning beyond the ordinary. Above all else, she loved her children with a fierce and unwavering devotion. They were her greatest joy, her proudest accomplishment, and the center of her world. Her love for them knew no limits, no conditions, and no end. Though she has left this earthly life behind, that love remains. Forever living on in them, surrounding them, and guiding them always. Those fortunate enough to know her experienced a love that was deep, genuine, and transformative. Her spirit was free, her heart was boundless, and her presence was unforgettable. While we grieve her absence deeply, we find comfort in believing that she has finally found the peace and beauty her soul longed for all along. She was a loving mother, wife, daughter and friend and will be forever deeply missed.
She is survived by her husband Brad Michael Schumacker, maternal grandmother Martha Louise Lowe and paternal grandmother Judy Lynn Ragland, her mother Rebecca, her daughter Chloe Michelle Goding and son Eric Matthew Goding Jr., her brother Edward Austin J. Dwight Kelley Sr. (Anne), her sister Jasmine Lynn Shere Kelley (Devin), nieces Charlie Jade Louise Mitcham and Luna Rose Marie Kelley, nephews Edward Austin J. Dwight Kelley Jr. and Donald Jack Edmond Mitcham. She is proceeded in death by her maternal grandfather Thomas Ricky Curl Sr., her father Donald, stepfather Harold Edmond Thompson, brother Donald Lee Kelley Jr., and her son Alexander J Dwight Goding.
She will be cremated, as were her wishes. A service to celebrate her life will be on Monday, July 6th, 2026 from 2-4PM at Bulloch Funeral Care & Cremation in Statesboro, GA. The family asks that you please send flowers in her memory.
