David Carlton Burton

David Carlton Burton, 32, of Ellabell, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 20, 2022.  Born in Greenville, he was the son of Benjamin and Betty Burton.

David worked at Bolton Air and attended Compassion Christian Church in Statesboro. He loved playing with his daughter, helping others and fishing but most of all he loved the Lord.

Survivors, in addition to his parents and daughter, Lilly Ann Burton, include three brothers; Jason Griffith of Georgia, Jonathan Bridges and Adam of Pooler and Stephen Burton of Ellabell; two sisters, Courtney and Nick of Greenwood and Cana and Shane of Anderson; Grandfather, Melvin C. McClellion of Ellabell; and his fiancé, Candy McCormick of Ellabell.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Deal Funeral Directors with Pastor James Davis officiating.
