Brian Patrick Cronin

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Brian P. Cronin on January 5, 2022,  He was a native of Blairsville, Georgia, but called Statesboro, Georgia his home for over 20 years.

Brian was a Georgia Southern University graduate and Army Veteran. He worked in several industries; however, his last career was working in the pipeline industry as a coating safety  inspector. The job that he was most proud of was being a father to his two sons, Jacob and Joshua, and self-proclaimed stepdad to Caleb McMillan.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Marie Nation.

Brian is survived by his sons, Jacob (Kaitlyn) and Joshua; his dad, Gerald Nation of Blairsville; sister, Shaye Young (Damion) of Blairsville; and significant other, Rikki McMillan.

A celebration of life will be held at the residence at a later date.
